M.   Description of how you would use the book with students: I believe I would use Alphathoughts by Lee Bennett Hopkins in my classroom to help students recognize their alphabet and grow in vocabulary. The words chosen by Lee Bennett Hopkins are simplistic but contain synonyms and describing words that students of the second grade students may not be familiar with or have used in their past.
